Stefan Picot – Managing Director: Bangkok Branch
Stefan comes from an established background in the hotel business, most notably his hotelier network and family association with the Jumeirah Hotel Group in Dubai, UAE – operators of the iconic seven-stars Burj Al Arab hotel.
Having gained Sales & Marketing experience with the Jumeirah Hotel Group from 2004, he moved into real estate in 2008 and played an integral role in establishing the 2011 International Property Award Winning estate agency – GDI Overseas. GDI Overseas has covered various overseas markets with a special interest in Dubai, Egypt, Turkey and Thailand.
Stefan spent five years as Director of Sales for GDI Overseas, which later branched out from Dubai to its sister company Pattaya Dom in Thailand in 2012. Stefan has spent 18 months successfully selling in Pattaya, Thailand and now brings his expertise and investor following to Bangkok after assuming the position of Managing Director of Thailand City Real Estate’s Bangkok office.
Svetlana Romanuk - Managing Director: Phuket Branch
Lana brings over eight years of experience in the fields of tourism and real estate sales and marketing to the company. Originally from Moscow, Lana first came to Thailand way back in 2006, where she originally started working in the field of tourism. Since 2009, she has been living and working in Phuket permanently, and so has an excellent and detailed knowledge of all areas of the island and the advantages and disadvantages of each region for both tourists and long-term residents alike.
Prior to joining Phuket Thai Real Estate as Managing Director, Lana was employed as a Sales & Marketing Manager for the luxurious Vista Del Mar villa development in the north of the island. Here she was instrumental to the success of the project, positioning Vista Del Mar as a premier luxury, leisure and lifestyle destination and successfully selling many villas on the project to a wide range of clients of many different nationalities.
Alan Cohen – Managing Director: Chiang Mai Branch
Alan has many years’ experience in the field of sales, marketing and management. He began his career in London in 1980 as a representative for the Prudential Assurance Company and then formed his own insurance brokerage specialising in residential and commercial finance.
Following the sale of his brokerage in the early 1990s, Alan then had a long successful career in the hospitality equipment supply industry. In 2006, he achieved the position of Sales Manager – UK and Ireland for the leading international hotelware manufacturer, Schonwald Porcelain of Germany. Here he was responsible for many of the firm’s most prestigious clients, including Kuwait Air, Fortnum and Mason and Sofitel Hotels.
Alan has had a long standing connection with Thailand – first as a holidaymaker in 2004 and then as an investor when buying his first property Northshore Condominium, Pattaya in 2006. Since then he made several further purchases in Pattaya, Jomtien and Hui Hin.
In 2013, Alan took the decision to relocate permanently to Thailand, where he formed his own real estate consultancy company. Through this company, he worked as Sales and Marketing Manager for the condominium projects Elegance Pattaya, Club Quarters Bang Saray, plus real estate companies John Young and Young Group Bangkok and NT Realty Pattaya.
Following a brief spell back in London, Alan returned to Thailand in 2015 to become the Managing Director of Chang Mai Realty.
Nick Pendrell – Marketing Director
Nick has been working in the field of international real estate since 2007 as an investment analyst, writer, journalist and real estate agent.
At the end of 2007, his first book on international real estate was published – Hurghada Property and Egypt’s Red Sea Riviera Real Estate. Following the success of the book, he moved to Hurghada in early 2008 where he formed the agency, Egypt Real, which became the most successful agency on the Red Sea, selling over 400 properties over a four year period.
At the start of 2012, Nick identified Pattaya in Thailand as having become the most interesting real estate market in the world currently for both investors and lifestyle buyers alike. In August 2012, he published the first ever complete guidebook for those interested in buying in Pattaya – Pattaya Property and Thailand’s Real Estate. Nick is also a prolific journalist on the subject of Pattaya property, regularly contributing to magazines including Pattaya Condo Guide, SE Asia Property Report, Real Estate Magazine and Pattaya Property Trader as well as international websites including PropertyShowrooms.com, HomesGoFast.com and Property-Abroad.com. He also appears regularly on radio and TV in Pattaya, presenting the Tropical Properties show on Pattaya Channel.
Nick is also an expert in the field of both online and offline marketing having held senior marketing positions since 1988. His 2011 book, Internet Marketing Bible for Accountants is considered the essential guide for professionals looking to promote local businesses online.
Stuart Daly – Managing Director: Pattaya Branch
Stuart is the Managing Director of Pattaya Realty which was founded in 2001, making the agency one of the longest established and most respected real estate agencies in the city. With over 11 years’ experience of operating on the Pattaya property market, few in the city understand the market and have the depth of knowledge as Stuart possesses.
